Keep your credential, career stage, specialisms, delivery preference, time zone and languages accurate in My Profile. Outdated background can make it harder to distinguish your current circumstances from what you want next.
If a detail has changed, update the saved profile and state the correction in your SmartMatch conversation. For a one-off search, explain the temporary requirement directly.
For example, you may usually prefer online support but be looking for an in-person Event on this occasion. Say that clearly. You do not need to change your general delivery preference every time a single search differs from your usual practice.
